Effective Household!

Also known as acne vulgaris, acne is an inflammatory condition of the skin that occurs because of the overworking of the sebaceous glands. This condition is typically characterized by the existence of pimples and blackheads on the face, chest and back of most individuals. This disease is mostly associated with puberty, but is known to arise in adults as well. It is one of the most widespread skin condition and nearly all individuals suffer from it, at least once in their lives. Nevertheless, managing any skin condition can be an expensive and challenging task. When it comes to acne treatment, there are several effective treatments.

However, most of these methods cost too much for people to use them on a consistent basis. Fortunately, there are some household treatments that can be used for getting rid of acne. The best part about these treatments is that they are not only inexpensive, but are also natural and effective. There are numerous powerful acne treatments that heal the skin and prove to be immensely beneficial. Here are some household items that can be used for this purpose:

  1. Baking Soda: The number one item in your household for acne treatment is baking soda. This is very alkaline and therefore, has the ability of killing off the Candida bacteria. The skin will be less prone to additional flare-ups when baking soda is used. In order to use it for the treatment of skin, a teaspoon of baking soda should be mixed with water for making a paste. The skin should be washed and then this paste should be applied to the affected area. Later, the skin can be rinsed.
  2. Tea Tree Oil: People can find this particular oil at natural food markets and health food stores and is another alternative for acne treatment. What’s more is that it has been revealed through several studies that in comparison to benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil is more effective in countering bacteria and dealing with acne. A cotton swab has to be soaked in the oil when people wish to use it and then it has to be applied on the acne spots lightly. Nonetheless, only a little bit of oil should be used for dabbing it on the skin.
  3. Oatmeal: This household item is not only wonderful for eating, but can also be extremely beneficial for acne treatment. This item is considered to be a very gentle and wonderful exfoliator.  One cup of oatmeal should be grinded in the coffee grinder and then a paste should be formed by mixing it with water. The skin should be washed before application and then the paste should be massaged. It can be removed later by rinsing.

The important thing to remember about household treatments for acne is that they take some time to deliver results. People should not stop using them in a couple of days. Two to three weeks are required for any significant results to show up. These are a healthy acne treatment solution as opposed to commercial skincare products that are available.
